Pattaya Park is a real family day out

It is possible to stay at Pattaya park for the entire length of your holiday and as I said on my home page, Pattaya city is trying to attract more families here. First of all it is not located in central Pattaya or anywhere near the Pattaya bars and other questionable entertainment venues. So if you do have young children they won't be asking any awkward questions about Ladyboys

pattaya-park

The location is at Jomtien right on the beach front and the views from the top of the 170 metre high tower are fantastic. A ticket for the tower costs 200Bt. There is the regulation revolving restaurant at the top of the tower, sorry I can't comment on the food yet as I have not got round to dining there yet.

There is if you are brave enough the Pattaya Park tower "jump" which is basically you leaping over the edge while hopefully attached securely to a cable which you slide down! Not for me that one. There is also the sky shuttle which will transport you from the beach and back down and if you want or feel the need to get up there quicker then take the speed shuttle.. Again rather you than me. You may notice I'm a little reluctant to take shall we say,, risks in the persuit of thrill seeking. It stems from not entirely trusting the operators who all believe 100% in re-incarnation!!

What else is there here, there is a good sized water park which has water slides along with 2 swimming pools and a whirlpool to relax in, you can play snooker or even use the jogging tracks. A scuba diving center, fitness center with a sauna. And nearby on the beach there is a full range of water sports from jet ski's and paragliding to windsurfing and just about anything you can imagine.

Fun Park! Complete with "Funny land" which will entertain you with swinging viking ships, a slalom roller coaster ride, Family swinger, Demolition derby, Musical carousel and not forgetting the Monorail to whisk you around the place.

If you do fancy staying at Pattaya Park there is a total of 718 rooms which include townhouses, bungalows, family suites, mini suites and regular guest rooms. All the rooms have an electronic safe for your valuables etc, there's also a fire alarm system, 24hr security guards and cctv on all floors.

What do I think of Pattaya Park? if you do happen to come to Pattayagay-beach with your family and are not aware of what the city is like until you get here. This is the place to get to with the kids. That's why it is not for me, not that I don't like the place I do, its for families. Personally I'd rather be checking out somewhere else probably further along the beach. And while I'm on the subject of the beach, just a word of caution so as there's no surprises for you.. it is largely a gay beach, see picture just above. And on that note I shall say thanks for looking.
