If you recognise the sign above then you have been here before! Soi 6 runs between Beach Rd, and 2nd Rd, towards the northern end of beach Rd, It is probably the most infamous street in Pattaya and just a stroll up or down can be highly entertaining, even in the wee small hours

I should at this point inform you that prostitution in Thailand is illegal, so short time bars no longer exist,, lets call them a recreational bar!

Short time bars,,,Ahem, recreational bars are always behind closed doors there maybe a few girls stood outside, and they are not shy at asking you inside.

Once inside one of these bars you will soon discover they are much more "friendly" than most Pattaya bar girls in fact they are very very friendly indeed. And of course the usual opening line of "you buy me dink" applies. Most of the bars are usually quite comfortable but again there are good and bad.

Quite simply these bars are a discreet place in which to relax and are frequented by guys who do not necessarily wish to be seen in a bar, they may have a girlfriend already. If you want to partake you will soon have a new friend in which to relax with. It may cost 300Bt for the room and the girls fee will be around 500Bt and up, but always try to negotiate first, and remember in any situation you both need to know the "deal".

After your activities you can return to the bar for a drink fully refreshed for another hard day in pattaya. Oh happy days.
