If you do a search for Pattaya escorts or even Bangkok escorts etc, etc, what you get back are generally bars or clubs that promote their bar girls as escorts. Where these girls will either visit you in your hotel room or you can visit them, either way they are not escorts in the proper sense.

On my many visits to La la land I have met with plenty of guy's who are sort of semi retired or work their nuts off back in their home country to be able to spend the winter time here, enjoying the good life. Oh dear, I have been talking with a number of my friends in sin city just recently and the consensus would seem that prices have been rising. One of these Pattaya addicts, I'm not mentioning names here so as to protect the innocent you see. Anyway he chirped up that western style restaurants along walking street seem to have raised their prices by about 15 to 25%, he puts it down to the fact its high season now combined with the flooding in Bangkok. Another guy in the bar pointed out beer has gone up to around 125Bt, which is seriously bad news. But thankfully rents and utilities have remained stable. One reply to the cost of beer was "I just get a cold one from 7-11 and sit on beach road" There were many other comments in the bar the other night but personally I don't think its just Pattaya where the cost of living is increasing its pretty much worldwide. And all I can say is thank heavens its still far cheaper to live here, Happy Day's More coming soon. I kid you not!!

Either way this is it word for word straight from the classified employment section. Unfortunately I have had to delay my trip to Pattaya due to the mass exodus of people from Bangkok escaping the floods in Thailand, and the chance of me actually getting a hotel room is virtually none and I'm not too keen about sleeping on JB's sofa.
Most of the people arriving in Pattaya recently are of the middle class variety with families, most of them dressed in black and a touch of gold with expensive haircuts! All wandering about looking very serious and as Pattaya is very laid back they may need to acclimatise a little. Most of the hotels and condo blocks do not allow pets but many of these "refugees" have brought along their pooches. I guess the pooches are refugees also. My friend said its quite funny to watch the Hi-So girls trying to get a room in what is not much more than a brothel, and the locals also find it amusing. More to come soon, |
