Yes there are so many pattaya attractions for the family.

A question I,m often asked is what about pattaya attractions for the family? Well, let me put it this way, you could easily have a month here with your family, and visit a different place every day, and still not do or see all the attractions in Pattaya, there really is that much to do.

You might also be thinking is my family safe in Pattaya. I would say yes, just because it has a reputation for adult entertainment as well as many stories of the single man in Pattaya does not mean the place does not cater for a great family holiday. In fact Pattaya over the years is changing to attract more families to visit.

If you do visit with a family and are concerned about safety I would say the biggest danger in the city itself is the traffic, you really do need to be careful because just crossing beach road to get on to the beach can be a major problem. And the beach by the way is not one of the Pattaya attractions, it gets a bit crowded and it ain't too clean! There are crossings painted on the roads but believe me the traffic will not stop for you.If you do have a young family and intend to explore on foot I would seriously suggest going out alone just to "practice" crosssing the road, that way you can get the hang of it! There are also many shopping malls to visit which are a pleasant way to spend an hour or two away from the heat. Pictured below is the beach road entrance to central festival.

No doubt you will be staying at one of the thousands of hotels in Thailand where you should find in the lobby plenty of Pattaya information such as where to go and what to do, and how to get there.

The first place I can recommend is Nongnooch tropical gardens, it has some magnificent gardens, Thai cultural performances and not to mention the highly entertaining elephant shows.Its only a few kilometeres outside of pattaya.
