Pattaya ApartmentsI recently had a friend contact me regarding Pattaya apartments, he went on to say that He had Googled Pattaya accommodation and cheap Pattaya hotels etc, etc, And to be fair Google is great for finding all types of information. But all he came up with was mainly directories where he could book online etc, what he wanted was some personal experience, recommendation sort of thing. So that's how this page came about. I have personally stayed at the following three Pattaya apartments on regular occasions, both in the high and low seasons. They are what I would describe as three budget hotels in Pattaya. They are not the cheapest of cheap Pattaya hotels. It is possible to get a room for as little as 250Bt, but believe me you would not want to stay there for any length of time, so I ain't gonna mention them. If it is you're first visit to Pattaya I would still recommend doing what I suggest on the Where to stay page, which is book yourself a room for a few days at one of the more internet friendly touristy places. Then when you get here familiarise yourself with the city, then check out some Pattaya apartments like these. And start saving a whole bunch of cash for doing what you really want to do, which no doubt involves the Pattaya bars and girls :)) Pattaya Apartments Mild Mansion This place is located on Soi 14 off Central Rd, (Pattaya Klang) there's a 7/11 store right on the corner.
Once you have turned down Soi 14 you will very shortly come to a kind of "S" bend, follow it round past the Soi on the right and Mild mansion is then the third building on your right. I know its stating the obvious but it does actually have a sign on the building! (many don't). Go up the few steps and the reception is on your left before the entrance doors. The manageress is a lady by the name of Goy, she speaks relativeley good English and is very helpful. There are four floors and I always try to book room 405, cos its at the back, quiet and well ventilated. Anyway all the rooms have A/C, hot water showers being in a separate wet room and a balcony. They also have a TV and a refrigerator. They have a brilliant laundry service, just hand it to Goy and you will usually get it back the following day. I must also mention the front patio area which is great for sitting and having a few beers with a female friend. Every time I have checked in to this place the rooms have always been spotlessly clean. I only ever once had a problem with a shower not working correctly but it was repaired that afternoon. How Much,, 1 night is 600Bt, 1 month is 6000Bt + water and electricity. I actually lived here for about 6 months one time and found I budgeted for I think 7000Bt a month, but I did crank up the A/C most nights. If you are staying on a monthly basis don't forget the 6000Bt deposit, Which you get back minus the water and electricity for the previous month, and hopefully you ain't caused any major damage or pawned the TV and fridge. Personally I have never had a problem in getting my deposit back. All in all its an excellent place to stay and this is proved by the many rooms occupied by long term ex-pats, many of who rent on an annual basis and save more cash. Its also very central to everything and all the Pattaya attractions. The only downside in my opinion is that the rooms are a little on the small side. But for me this is made up for by the cleanliness, quietness and the security. If you Contact me I will send you all the details so you can book via email or phone. Pattaya apartments Joy Apartments Where are they,, Same Soi 14 as Mild mansion, just keep going and they are on the left hand side, on the next corner.
These Pattaya apartments are definately for monthly rental only, they are not ultra modern and not 5 star accommodation as the two very good friends I have that live there will tell you. However the rooms are very large and spacious. They have A/C and a TV, refrigerator and a separate wet room with a hot water shower, there's also a balcony to the rear. There is also a balcony at the front, which makes an excellent viewing spot. If you are planning to stay in Pattaya for at least a month these apartments are without doubt the best value in town. If you can get one! You try and find an apartment in Pattaya of the same size etc, for 5000Bt a month, and I'm talking about a hotel in central Pattaya here. You have to travel a few kilometer's out of town to get the same value. Then you're into having to rent a motorbike or pay for other forms of transport, and in the early hours that means a motorbike taxi! So, 5000Bt per month and 5000Bt deposit gets you a large apartment in central Pattaya. If you budget for 6000Bt a month including your water and electricity you'll be well covered. Pattaya apartments The Classic Inn Where is it? Soi 13 off Central Rd, (Pattaya Klang).
I have stayed here many, many times on my frequent weekend trips to Pattaya. I will say up front that the rooms do have one major drawback... Which is the windows don't freakin open! But hey, for a couple of nights or a few days the place is really fine and surprisingly quiet. All the rooms have A/C, TV, refrigerator and a separate bathroom with a hot water shower. And what I like very much is the fact the rooms are always spotlessly clean when you check in. And are also cleaned and serviced daily. There's a 24hr reception service, and if you take a "friend" back for the evening the guy on the desk will usually ask for and keep your "friends" ID until all is well the following morning, how's that for service at just 450Bt per night. Now the sign does say 450Bt, but you will discover that you will more than likely be asked for 500Bt, why, well the rooms at 450Bt don't even have a window to try and open!! and they are always taken. Given the drawback of not being able to open a window I still like staying here, for a few days anyway. Simply because its so central and very clean and secure. And there's some great little bars right on the doorstep and I gotta mention the fried chicken shop opposite, its delicious and great for taking back up to your room. You may notice that on the second two details of these Pattaya apartments I ain't offered to send any details. The honest truth is that for one thing they don't have an email address, let alone a website. Secondly if you did try to book a room over the telephone, they would understand very little of what you are trying to say! You would be thinking that you had booked a room. only to turn up after travelling half way around the world and they don't know a thing about it. Believe me that will happen!
