Flipper lodge hotel PattayaYes indeed the flipper lodge hotel Pattaya is really in the thick of it so to speak. What I mean by that is, its surrounded by the Pattaya bars as its located directly on Soi 8. If you do stay here be sure to take one of the hotel cards with you.. Why, because like me when you've had a few beers you can very easily try to get to your room in the wrong hotel! As there is a hotel named Flipper house on Soi 7, believe me its easily done.
The Flipper lodge truly is well located, if you step out of the hotel and turn left beach road and the beach is only about 200 metres, and in the evening this is a very convenient place for catching a baht bus down to Walking street. Should you wish to stay closer, well Soi 8 is packed with Beer bars and so is Soi 7 these two areas are great for meeting a Pattaya girl. And speaking of meeting a Pattaya girl, should you decide to take a guest back to your room, the security staff are excellent as they will check with you to make sure all is well before your guest leaves. As I understand it the Flipper lodge hotel Pattaya is a 2 star hotel. Some rooms have a sea view, all are air conditioned, you also get satellite TV a refrigerator, telephone, and a private bathroom with hot and cold water. The restaurant is excellent which serves both western and Thai food. There is a pool on the roof complete with a bar, all you have to do is take the lift.
Flipper lodge also has a barber so you can have the regulation haircut and a shave if you wish. But to be honest I have yet to get a decent shave anywhere in Thailand. You can also indulge in a Massage and there is internet available. The only down side for me is that there's no gym.. not the end of the world though. All in all the Flipper lodge hotel Pattaya is a great place to stay, particularly if its your first visit, If only for the security aspect really.
