Car hire Pattaya There are the usual big companies for car hire in pattaya which are, Hertz, Sixt, Budget and Avis. There are also many small independent car hire operators who may be a little less expensive. But dont look at the cost only, You need to make sure the vehicle has the correct rental insurance. The driver is held liable for all claims and if you aint got insurance it could get very expensive not to mention complicated. Ask to see copies of the insurance policy and registration document, keep these inside the vehicle along with the pattaya car rental details. All the car rental places I know of require you to pay in advance and provide a deposit of a few thousand Bt. When you are renting a car do have a good look round, and it is a good idea if you can to take pictures of any existing damage/scratches/dents etc,
